The Ziro Tower

The walk to the Ziro tower is one of the most evocative of the territory of Scala. The tower belongs to an ancient network of defensive structures scattered along the coast to spot the raiders from the sea.

The Sanctuary of Avvocata

The sanctuary of Maria Santissima Avvocata sopra Maiori is a Marian sanctuary, located at a height of 827 meters on Mount Falerzio (1014 meters), also called Monte Avvocata. The sanctuary can only be reached via trails starting from Cava de ‘Tirreni, Cetara and Maiori.

Villa Rufolo

Villa Rufolo is a building in the historic center of Ravello, a town in the province of Salerno, facing the Duomo in the Piazza del Vescovado and whose initial layout dates back to the XIII century, with extensive nineteenth-century alterations.

Villa Cimbrone Gardens

The gardens of Villa Cimbrone are incredibly beautiful and contain the “most beautiful flowers you can imagine”. They were largely redesigned at the beginning of the 20th century, with the precious contribution of the English gardener Vita Sackville-West.

Duomo di Sant'Andrea

The Cathedral of Sant’Andrea is the main Catholic place of worship in Amalfi, the bishop’s seat of the Archdiocese of Amalfi-Cava de ‘Tirreni. Dedicated to St. Andrew the Apostle, it is located in Piazza Duomo, in the center of the city.

Chiesa Positano

The church of Santa Maria Assunta is a small jewel in the center of Positano, located in Piazza Flavio Gioia, a few steps from the beach of Marina Grande.

Capri

The “Grotta dello Smeraldo” (Esmerald cave) is a karst cavity partially invaded by the sea located in the Conca dei Marini area. It was discovered by the fisherman Luigi Buonocore in 1932.
